It is already 2 weeks after the knalpot welded. Yea i forgot to write it down, my car already spent about US$ 70 for welding the bottom part of the chasis, the supporting metal and at last the knalpot (i don’t know what it is called in english).

Now this car have run with no problem (of course there are still sound effect that diehard), at least i do not spend anymore expenses for this car. In a way this old car is very helpful, we do not get wet when it’s rain, and for a long distance, this car is more comfortable then motorbike.

Well hope this will last long, cross my finger

Another front wheel broke again

Well after did front wheel welded and check to the service station for spooring, the mechanic say “it can’t be service, because another part still crack and that make the wheel can not be inline”. What the *@#$ why can they said it before??? Those are the same guys who tell what part that need to be welded in order to make the car can be spooring. What an idiot???

So i have to bring back the car to the welding guys and then bring it again to the service station to be spooring.  I am already spending about $30 for welding and will be another $$ for fix another stupid crack. I hope that i can used the money for something else.

Front wheel broken

What a hard day…..

My car broke again, and now is the front right wheel. It make a big noise at first, and at the end i have found out that the source come from the bottom of machine part. A little metal just coming down and make a noise every time the machine is running. After sent to be repaired, the mechanic guy only add a screw and bolt it back.

After the noise is gone, suddenly the car can not move. So it leads to another problem. Well it need to be welded, actually a bottom part of the car almost everything is rusted. The worst things are the part that support the wheel also rusted for both part left and right.

So, i put the car to the service that can do the welding, and then two days after that, my car can run again. but not until a week the front wheel just not inline again. what the F#@$ this kind of never ending broken car. I can’t get rid of this but at the same time this car already help me alot.

What to do?

Leakage in carburator ?

Yesterday, i just take my family go to the Nusa Dua Beach, there is a private beach  -it is supposed to be public beach, but since the beach is located in the 5 star hotel complex so it become private- that we usually spend time. After finish play at the beach, on the way back to our house this sherida  -the car is namely sherida from the brand charade- is keep noisy.

I look at dashboard and the temperature meter is high, and suddenly the engine is stop. So  we pull out at the street and add the water to carburator. It took 2 big bottle of Aqua to fill up. Is it the carburator is leakage or broken? We don’t use this car in last 2 days, but suddenly the carburator is broken?

I need to service and change the oil, but since i really broke today so i will do it next following month. Hopefully nothing happen until then.

my old love-hately car

just after i repair the ball joint, knuckle and tire support, my car cant start. A day before i just take it to Carrefour and there’s no problem happen. Next day, everything goes well until it suddenly stop. Cant started and can be jump start also _even we already asked several guys to help push the car_ Well no choice, today that old car just go back to another service station. It already more than 4 service station that i went to. The one is the authorize daihatsu at Sanur _ it had repaired a lot of things from canvas break till shockbeaker_ another station is authorize daihatsu at denpasar, same story all about the tire support. The worst service station is at Jimbaran, which is i had to change the other front right tire support. I have a suspicion that they are not install it correctly, even at the end i found the broken support already welded before.

The car is very cheap _compare to other decent good looking car_ and this is the most expensive used car that i could bought. So I have no complaint with the prices, but i do complaint about the cost of reparation and service to make it good. This car have no problem 2 month after i bought, after that it keep back and forth to service station. Day 1 for repairing the left side, Day 2 repair right side, day 3 repair the front side, day 4 repair the back side, day 5 repair the machine, day 6 repair the wheel, day…. i can count it to infinity.

But hey, this is an old car _not to mention antique_ i thing that’s normal. Anyway do you what is the car is it? It is Daihatsu charade 84 G10R
